[서울경제] 법무부 소속 30대 남자 공무원이 한강 다리에서 투신해 사망했다.
[Seoul Economics] A 30-something male official from the South Korean Ministry of Justice jumped from a bridge into the Han River and died.
25일 법무부 등에 따르면 이날 오전 5시께 법무부 비상안전기획관실 소속 A씨가 동작대교에서 한강에 투신해 숨졌다. A씨는 국가 비상상황·위기관리를 담당하는 비상안전기획관실에서 신종 코로나 바이러스 감염증(코로나 19) 관련 업무를 맡은 직원이었다. 경찰이 폐쇄회로(CC)TV를 확인한 결과 A씨는 차를 몰고 와 동작대교 난간에 부딪혔고, 이어 차에서 내려 다리 아래로 뛰어내린 것으로 알려졌다. A씨는 이날 오전 9시께 반포 수난구조대에 의해 발견됐으나 숨을 거둔 상태였던 것으로 전해졌다. 경찰과 법무부는 A씨가 극단적 선택에 이른 경위, 업무와의 연관성 등을 조사하고 있다.

Police confirmed CCTV and found that the man drove in and hit the rail of Dongjak Bridge, which was followed by getting off the car and jumping from the bridge. The man was found at around 9 a.m. by a Banpo water rescue team, but was reportedly dead. The police and the South Korean Justice Ministry are investigating how the man reached this extreme choice and its connection to his work.
